Q: When the device is searching, how long do I have to wait?
A: The automatic login process should not take more than a few seconds.

Q: How would I know if I'm logged on to the network?
A: Upon successful login, the icon on the taskbar will turn from red, to yellow or green indicating
l
     connection. The Mobility Manager will appear stating the connection status is "connected".
l

Q:  If the device keeps searching, what should I do next?
A: If connection status does not change to "connected" after several seconds, ensure that:
l
         a) PC is within the broadband coverage area
         b) Antenna is plugged in
         c) Remove/reinsert the
card

Q: What do I do if I still can’t surf the Internet even when the Mobility Manager shows “connected”?

A: Internet Explorer – Go to “Tools”, select “Internet Option”, click on the “Connection” tab, and then click
     on “LAN settings”. Ensure that the “Automatically detect settings” is checked.

Q: Would I be able to use
in all places or only at certain places eg: Hotspots?l
A:
can be used anywhere that has coverage. Currently is available in
     Kuala Lumpur & Petaling Jaya.

Q: There are 2 slots available on the PC, which slot should I insert the card?
A: Ensure that available slots are PCMCIA slots. Then insert the card into any of these slots

Q: What are the minimum requirements/devices I need for my computer?
A: Processor speed 600MHz Memory 128MB, hard disk space 10MB. Currently the card

     is only supported by Windows Operating Systems (Windows 98 SE, 2000, XP).

Q:  How do I disconnect the service?
A: Remove/eject the
card.

Q: Do I have to configure my IP address in order to start using the service?
A: It is automatically configured by Windows.

Q: Do I have to install anything before using the card?
A: Yes, install the CD driver provided when you purchase the
card.

Q:  Once I've inserted the card, what should I do next?
A: Once the
card is inserted, the Mobility Manager will pop up and search for the network
    automatically. If for any reason it does not pop up, initialize the program via the desktop or system tray
    icon.

Q: Do I have to logoff every time I stop using it and reconnect it whenever I want to?
A: There are 2 ways to exit whilst keeping the session running.

        a) Click ''X'' on the top right corner. To re-launch Mobility Manager, click the PC Card icon. Clicking   
             the ''X'' will only minimize the application.
        b) Remove/eject the
card. (Remove the card when not in use to conserve battery power)

Q: Is the
service affected by weather conditions?
A: No, weather conditions do not affect the service.

Q:  What does the function mean in the indicator?
A: Duration     -   This will show how long your notebook has been connected to the network.
l
     Received   -   To monitor the data transferred or received during a session.
     Sent            -   To monitor the data transferred or sent during a session.
     Strength    -   This indicates the coverage.
     Quality       -   Measures the actual quality of the signal
                             (signal in relation to surrounding noise/interference).

* The strength and the quality provide only an indication and by no means provide absolute measurement.

Q: Can the Mobility Manager be minimized without being disconnected?
A: Yes, just click the ''X'' on the top right corner to minimize and continue surfing.

Q: How do I remove the
card from the PC after using it?
A: Press the eject button at the side to remove the card from the slot.
